[UnAnswered] Anyone using NAS drives with PS3?

    Sponsored Links
OK so the PS3 is starting to turn into a semi decent media centre, so I've been looking at NAS in particular the QNAP TS-109 has caught my eye.

Is anyone using one of these directly plugged into the PS3 USB port?

If you are using another model please let me know your thoughts too.

    Thanks,
    Ian

Edit: Is nobody using a NAS drive with their PS3?

I have a Infrant ReadyNAS NV... their latest firmware had lots of fixes for streaming video using the ps3. but i haven't gotten around to playing with it. Until the ps3 supports divx, it's a pain in the ass having to re-encode movies, ect.

I know. However I use Jodix and it supports batching and I currently have the output dir pointing to an ext harddrive which i move about (which is a PITA). Plus i figure i'd like to be ready for when i can download my tv progs using torrents straight to the PS3 :-D
