    [UnAnswered] any way to copy locked gamesaves to another PS3?

    Hi all,

    Unfortunately my PS3 fat died (again). So I decided to buy a slim this time.
    I tried to backup my save games to a USB device, but some games couldn't be copied (like demon's souls and RE5). Is there a way to get these gamesaves on my PS3 Slim?

    It's possible in some games like MGS 4 where you open the save folder and change individual files rather than replacing the whole thing. Why not try to FTP it over?

    Haven't needed to copy saves for a while! =D

    RE5 Game saves were locked intially but after the update sometimes early this year it's possible now to copy the game save out
