    [Answered] Alternative to ftp transfer?

Am I able to transfer my games on my internal hdd using something faster then ftp? ie a usb key?

If it's not possible does anyone have any advice on how to make the ftp transfer faster? It took over 5 hours to transfer modnation racers and the game's less than 10 gb in size.

ensure the game you have is copied into /GAMEZ/GAMENAME on the usb stick.

jb your ps3 and launch open manager.

navigate to the game and have it selected and then press O to copy.

you can use external hard drive or usb memory sticks.

As an aside, are you ftp'ing over wifi?

You can use external FAT32 drives but if you have games with files over 4GB you will need to split them. you must be using wifi or you have a very slow 10mbit router/switch. i can transfer 10GB over FTP in less than 15min approx, roughly 100seconds a GB.I have ps3 wired to my PCs second gigabit port directly.

How am I able to transfer games on my internal hdd via a usb stuck? I'm using open manager so I suppose there's an option somewhere?
