3.41 Rebug and no homebrew seems to boot help?

First, I'm sorry for my bad English, I'm italian. I hope you can understand.

I installed 3.41 and then I put 3.41 Rebug FW. I hoped I could run some homebrews but everytime I try to boot something (for example, PCE emu http://www.ps3news.com/ps3-hacks-jai...ongle-on-3-41/) I get this error: "Si è verificato un errore durante l'operazione di installazione (80029567)" (in eng, something like "Unexpected error happened during installation process"). What shall I do? I don't want to upgrade to 3.55 cfw for now...

Rebug isn't CFW! To run something you need still Jailbreak with special rebug HEX file on it.

Oh! So I can't even load any homebrews on 3.55 Geo Hot cfw if I haven't got an usb dongle?

On all CFW homebrew's work but Rebug isn't CFW. Install GeoHOT, KaKaRoTo or get dongle with HEX.

If you could read he said he doesn't want to upgrade to 3.55 so NO geohot

If I were you I would just install regular 3.41 (most compatible with backups) use dongle of choice and install signed homebrew which will then work in retail mode (no dongle).

As for what hex to use I personally like Hermes v4b with 3.55 spoof. But pl3 should work also but i don't use it.
