-Rep and please do some reading before posting guys... as NDT stated in his initial post, this app accomplishes the same as ifcaro's PS3 HDD Toolbox, and I have already answered what it does here: http://www.ps3news.com/forums/ps3-hd...tml#post265482

In short, unless your brain is smart enough to comprehend NDT and ifcaro's initial posts you will not need to use either app... they won't allow you to run any games, backups from the HDD, or anything of that nature.

Let's try to keep these threads on-track and not turn them all into lameass backup loader begging... because it will be a very long time before that happens (need a retail hole to run unsigned code first, which doesn't currently exist), so this is only one small step along the way.

Woah now... so this program will facilitate the encrypting/decrypting of files on the PS3 HDD or just an image of the entire HDD?

For example, if I were looking to change some values in a file on the HDD, this program can handle the decryption, and then encryption for putting the edited file back where it was? I'm sorry but this is kinda shocking to me because I thought progress with the HDD's encryption was still coming along slowly.

PS3 will rock

You'll obtain an image of the full Hdd. Then you have to use R-Studio or a similar sw to extract the files from the image.
You can substitute a patched file with winhex.

If you plan to work on Fat32 (where update files ares during the update process) it's suggested to use a tool to mount the fat32 image so you can patch it on the fly (use a tool called Im Virtual Disk or a similar one).
