The time limit is set to (5) minutes for post editing here. After that expires, the Edit option is no longer available.

so what format will be needed to play homebrews and how can we use this format? plus do i need a fat32 format hardrive or is that all hard drives do?

so i just need a external or internal (with drive enclosure) harddrive with a 2speed usb lead and connect to ps3 to play homebrew when iso loader is out?

Use your brains- until a way to play PS3 homebrew (non-Linux) or PS3 iSOs is public you kids are going to have to wait like everyone else. This is why nobody is answering you- I advise you NOT to reply again until such time, consider this a friendly warning.

As for where to store them until such time- nobody cares, so get a clue. Just use any method you wish, or don't collect them until a Loader is out.

how can i connect an external hard drive to a ps3 without opening it? or can i not do this?
There's no opening of the case involved in PS3 hard drive installation. Sony included a little hard drive door, and it is totally within the warranty rights to change hard drives that way.

Hmm, this thread may be obsolete, CES brought the announcement of 500-1000 GB laptop SATA drives! Woo!

the ps3 reads fat32, use swiss knife (check the sticky) to format external drives.
