Since I can't get my 1.5 game to work on a 1.32 with rfom. Do you think there needs to be some file on the ps3 to let this game run? A firmware at least at 1.5?

Delete the online update file for rfom from within xmb and try that!

Grandpa, did you have to delete the online update or did you not already have it installed?

Sorry - forgot to mention originally:

1. RFOM update NOT installed yet.

2. Both games are PAL versions.

Hmm I wonder now which games are gonna work for me now. I think I'm gonna go rent some games to see which ones I can buy and use the bypass with. This is so awesome!

I stated this earlier in this thread, but apparently it went unnoticed.

PS3 (PAL)
Resistance Fall of Man (PAL)
System Firmware 1.60 (PAL)
Oblivion (PAL)

I used RFoM to boot into Oblivion, so I can confirm this does work on a PAL ps3 with firmware 1.60 with PAL RFoM.

Allright - that proves just that it's still possible to swap and boot with 1.60 but as far as Oblivion works fine anyway it's not a real exploit.

But still good to know...
