RFOM Exploit possible?

is there any way to play NGS with the RFOM method in a higher resolutin than 720p?

I've tried loading 2 UK PS3 demo disks on my 1.50 PS3 using RFoM and while one requiring firmware 1.70 works, the other that requires 1.80 doesn't work... I haven't downloaded any RFoM updates either.

UK PAL - 1.50FW - The Darkness works with the swap, however it only displays 720p and wont upscale to 1080 since it was started from RFOM. Shame really...

hmm, thats strange. which disk is it? I´ve got disk 8 from the August issue which asks for 1.8 and it loads up and plays with RFoM. I haven´t tried with F1 yet but I assume it works also. i´ll try it later just to make sure.

swap and save with Resistance Fall of man

game boots fine.

Minna no Golf 5 JAP ( requires 1.82 )

Swap with PAL Resistance ( 1.50 )

NOT WORKING ( return to xmb )

D'oh! My older brother has updated to 1.70 so he can play R6V and now I just updated to 1.90 because I want to use the media server. RIP 1.51

could be cuz your trying to start a NTSC game with a pal system and pal resistance?
