Is there any sort of exploit for the new update on FOM? It requires a system update and the FW bypass doesn't work.

I got it to work with NTSC US The Darkness. I did exactly what the guy in the first page did. I started Resistance, played the game for a few seconds, hit pause, ejected Resistance, swapped for The Darkness, Saved & Quit on Resistance, and The Darkness loaded up just fine.

Tested on a v1.70 PS3.

Today the global resistance patch came out this morning around 10:00 am, so i updated the new patch then when it was finished downloading the game said to restart the game with ps button so i did. then it took me back to the xmb screen and i scrolled over to rfom to launch the game and it said i need a firmware update to play game. I am currently on firmware 1.51 using simple dns plus and i dont want to update and i cant use the RFOM swap exploit cause it is resistance i am trying to play!! I guess people will have to update firmware if they want to play rfom online ever again.

you could try to do the exploit with f1 and then switch it with rfom

Just tried Rainbow Six Vegas on my 1.5 Pal PS3 and it works using the RFOM exploit!! :tongue2

They did the same with the Motorstorm update you gotta update your firmware to play.

i dont know if anyone tried already, but the darkness is working with RFOM expliot tested with fw 1.50 the darkness needed 1.80.
