I had the same problem with the hong kong version of R:FoM. My NTSC-US\Canada version saves and loads fine now. I originally was swapping to play splinter cell DA. The NTSC(J) Version of R:FoM caused the game to crash when loading a savedata. The NTSC-US\Canada version of R:FoM loaded splinter cell DA fine.

Maybe worth selling the HK version to get the US version, or buy the F1 game as there is a swap trick with that game too. If you do buy a US version of R:FoM your savedatas from your HK version will not work.

What happen if you swapped back to R:FOM to saved your swapped game? Does it work that way, so you won't have to crash your swapped saved game before loading time.

sure it still works. Elextrixbreaker, it won´t work that way. I had the same problem swapping with fear. what´s strange is the huge amount of data that gets saved. I ended up getting F1 also, between F1 and Rfom you should be able to save just about all the games.

After Upgrading to 1.32 are you able to load and save fear with RFOM or only with F1?

Because I am having a problem with MLB 07 the show, which will not load on 1.10 firmware with RFOM.... I'm thinking that I need to upgrade to 1.32.

Exclamation

Can please anyone with F1 and version 1.50 (or below) try and report back here if it's possible to successfully boot Motorstorm updated to 1.2 (might be necessary to run the 1.2 MS update again when booted this way and indeed your current save / progress will be not accessible) and most of all if you can then go on-line... ?

Thanks.

I am on 1.50, with the 1.2 motorstorm patch installed and swapping from R:FoM does not work. I do have F1 so will give that a try.

Don't update any patch right now especially Motorstorm 1.2 UK cuz $ony knows it already and that's why the developer push it back the date again, and it doesn't matter if they change the issue or added new mode, track or vehicle. Any patch that hadn't change before the exploit is ok, but not after the exploit was found. Think twice before you plan to swap your own game that required the latest firmware. $ony won't tell you if they covered the hole or not. So just beware of that ok!
