Ok GameSave names:

RFOM = BCES00001_PROFILE

Spidey3 = BCES00001-AUTO-

So yes, its using the RFOM GameID for the savegame but Spiderman has an AUTO on the end whilst RFOM has a PROFILE. Maybe other games perhaps Oblivion have PROFILE saves which is why they dont work?

All the games are NTSC.
Ps3 ver 1.02

Original Rfom file name = BCUS98107_PROFILE
After swap
Motorstorm file name = BCUS98107 (resistance filename on folder)

Big discrepancy here check this out this is nice for VR5 file name = BLUS30020-SYSTEM isn't that weird I think it's because i installed it to the hd.

Guys the saves seem to work on 90% of games, i think there is only a few they dont work on. To those having problems I can only suggest try the f1 exploit and see if that works. I have 'testers' who have files called BCESXXXXXXXXX and they work fine so although it may be name related it works with the BCES name. at the minute I think there is only 3/4 games it doesnt work with?

We need to focus now on ps2 exploits! I am now concentrating on ps2 backups, blu-ray and ps2 region hacking and some other bits and bobs. Thanks for all your feedback guys and enjoy your games ;-)

Confirmed working:

PS3 USA fw1.50
RFOM USA (without updates) ~>
Oblivion USA (requires 1.51).

Both save games are working fine.

GameSave folders are:
RFOM = BCUS98107_PROFILE
Oblivion Options = BCUS98107-OPTIONS
Oblivion AutoSave = BCUS98107-SAVE_AUTO
Oblivion Save Game = BCUS98107-SAVE-1

Thanks HackITandC, my useless Oblivion disc its now ready to spin!

I cannot get this to work,

PS3: PAL (Australian)
Firmware: 1.50
Games tried to swap OUT: RfoM and NFS:Carbon
Results: Black screen which is unresponsive.

Also tried running a PSN game from the HDD that requires a higher Firmware: Calling All Cars but cannot get to work - used original RfoM method to get back into the XMB which succeeded but it still asked for firmware update.

You dont "get back to the XMB" with the exploit.

Make sure you have deleted the RFOM online update and try again.
