Without it the ps3 says ther is no backup data yet.
Its like 1 2 3. First start with one and end with the highest value.

Guys honestly i don't think this is fake... i just think that its a bit 'less' than we thought it was.

It only takes renaming the file and copying it in an order (i really don't understand why this would work btw lol) ...sure its really simple...but who knows where it may lead.

If sony slips up with its firmware, it doesn't have to be something all technical, it could be the simplest of errors, so we really need to find these exploits at all levels.

I don't really know much about these things, but if the backups are encrypted with RC4 and you decrypt them, then you change a bit of code would not that break the sign by sony?

At least that is what i have understood that they are trying to do...

BTW. How come when he takes a 256kb .pkg file it magicly tansforms to the mgs4 DB? Which is 77mb?
Unless the Mgs4 DB is in another back up file.
Beacuse that is the same thing that happend to me, but with the GTHD v2.0 pkg.
I saw all the other files I had backed up, but not the one I swapped(GTHD).

How is an unstartable pkg file going to start some kind of an exploit?
I'm confused...
