To who have a PS3 Debug

With this console... has been tried to extract the firm of BDR?

Well, few issues with doing that. One, the BD Firmware is on a BGA chip, not the simplest to remove and replace.

Furthermore, since we know that the firmware differs per box, it wont really help much (even if we had the firmware, we cant swap)

Ontop of that, there is still the issue of media flags etc, copies dont just work on a debug unit. Development copies do, but the EBOOT.BIN files are encrypted differently!

How do you guys get hold of a PS3 Dev unit??
