Below is a video and some pictures of a Sony PS3 Slim system LED modification in action from flasheur via YouTube.

I was putzing around, saw this and it looked pretty cool! To quote from the source linked above:

"I present the PS3 slim of jefff...

Mod making:

- 4 Red led on Inter
- 4 Led to a blue cross
- 4 Green led on Inter
- 4 Led to a pink cross
- 2 Led to a multi Inter
- 4 Blue LED on the drive presence LED
- 1 White LED has left the power button

So there you have a multiple LED configuration!"

I think the Blue PS3 Logo looks like the best one. But The Mod is a nice.

I always thought the slim looked a bit gray and dull compared to the fat, but this mod goes some way in rectifying that.

Pity Sony did not think along similar lines.

Too bad sony cant be as creative or flashy with there design's. I like it but would be nice if you put in some kind of backer so when lights come on, one would not see the ps3 internals. It would just glow.

Maybe sony was trying to cut cost so they did not add any fancy lighting. Though i don't think it would be that expensive to do it. Maybe they would consider it in future releases. Though it would be cool if the guy had posted a tut on how to do it.
