Video: OOSK - OpenOSK PS3 Open On-Screen Keyboard Arrives

This weekend Spanish PlayStation 3 developer blipi has shared some videos demonstrating a PS3 open on-screen keyboard based on Tiny3D and libfont from Hermes that other developers can incorporate into their homebrew releases.

    Download: https://bitbucket.org/blipi/oosk-openosk

To quote, roughly translated: Well, I thought that maybe someone of interest. It is designed for programmers and a framework in C++.

This is an OSK (On-Screen Keyboard) for the development of homebrews. Since I did not get to show the PS3 by psl1ght OSK decided to make one. Thinking about thinking I decided that maybe someone else saw this, so I decided to share my work: https://bitbucket.org/blipi/oosk-openosk

It is released under GNU GPL, under which you can freely use the code, but any modification is above code should be released or before uploading it to the repository or enviandomela to me for the climb.

Is still in development, so has a lot of functionality to be added yet.

    I hope to serve you,
    Blipi

Does this offer any advantages over the build-in keyboard? It was my understanding that homebrew could use the built-in keyboard which works just fine.

What would be kool is using the move to create "Swype" functionality like what we have on smartphones.

It probably uses less ram than the ps3's keyboard.
