    Briks49:

    If you have installed Rebug then you MUST use the Rebug payload to jailbreak.
    If you want to go back to a stock 3.41 Retail Firmware just boot up without any jailbreak and install the firmware from XMB.

    Read the tut... it cleary says *Use Rebug Payload*

    Yeah he knows that he has installed rebug then reinstalled 3.41 the problem is now he's back on 3.41 he can't get his jb to work anymore.

    Then hes not back on 3.41 Retail, and even if he is he must be using the rebug payoad on a retail 3.41

    that's what i'm thinking too but apparently he's tried many payloads and has reinstalled retail 3.41 more than once.

    I don't think this is necessary. You could always enter the PS3's recovery menu and reinstall the 3.41 update.

    Anyway, the problem seems clear to me that you're not programming the AT90USB KEY correctly or it is malfunctioning.

    Another idea... Could it be stuck in DFU mode?

    If you want to jailbreak the Rebug FW you must use the Rebug payload.
