log files will still be there. all they have to do is scan your PS3. we are not sure as to where these logs are actually stored. If on the hard drive, you could theoretically wipe your system with PS3 restore, THEN connect online.
Are you certain of that? Even if the log files are there they'd have to have a program which can accurately scan them for what they're looking for, fat chance that's going to happen.
Also, in addition to this, it took months/years for people to figure out how microsoft was detecting and banning consoles. Even then, people are only guessing how its done. It also took a lot of trial and error and many banned consoles. Don't expect things to come quickly, we've only had an exploit for a little over a week now.
