    Playing video/audio through SMB/DLNA shares are still too buggy.
    • File List is very buggy, some of the files gives gives error to open and some of the files (most likely if you have more than 256files on same share, rest wont show up or most of the list are truncated or cutted.)
    • If you seek a video from time to time, the video and audio gets out of sync and sometimes it cuts on some part of video.
    • A bug when playing a video through SMB and if network connection suddenly cuts, PS3 will freeze.

    Yeah Showtime still isn't perfect. If you start having problems usually just close and open the video again, or restart Showtime.

    Following up on the previous update, PlayStation 3 homebrew developer Redsquirrel87 has now released v3.3.401 of the unofficial Showtime PS3 Media Player Repack with the changes detailed below.

    • Include Showtime's spotify appkey in the build
    • Update Swedish translation
    • Make it possible to configure if Showtime is to include all .srt files from a directory
    • httpapi: Some commented out helpers for memory fragmentation diag.
    • ps3: Don't play h264 constrained baseline using the cell accelerated decoder (it does not work)
    • Add some more blacklisted file-endings (.exe and .tmp)

    Redsquirrel87 is a tremendous developer for the scene and all, but I think he should wait a while before releasing a new version of his showtime player and not just release it every time he has a couple of updates.
