Yes you can.

Showtime PS3 Media Player Channel 9 Plugin v1.3 Changelog: Add: Bookmarks Add: Search for Shows, Series, Blogs and Events Add: Video page Add: Sort Section Add: Current Events Add: What’s New feed Enhancement: Allow user to choose format of video/audio Enhancement: New logo (thanks GPatel) Fix: Tags feed (broke due to the new layout of channel9 for tags)
Installation: Put that zip archive (unextracted) on /dev_hdd0/game/HTSS00003/USRDIR/settings/installedplugins
Q: Sometimes when I’m navigating between feeds, I get a message saying “Connection timed out”, what’s wrong?
A: The developer (facanferff) is aware of this issue and apparently the reason is a bug with the Showtime itself, for now when it happens just go back and try again, it should then work

the cpu is too weak to play HD. it needs proper GPU help for this maybe one day it will be implemented in a proper way.
This is absolutely unnecessary I think.

i just installed it! but cant find it.. sucks big time.
I'm not sure if I remember correctly but Virtual Dub converts video with no quality loss so people could at least use that and convert their mkv files to the native PS3 format. I have no problems with 1080p videos playing it from normal PS3 player.
Yes but Virtual Dub outputs the files in massive sizes, around 8GB for a 20 minute video. Is that supposed to happen? lol.
