Hello, devs.
There was an information in the forum, that PS3 uses modified version of AIX (IBM Unix) as a basic OS. The question is whether storage of the data on the hard-drive is done in a same way as in AIX. More precisely:
i) If PS3 native partition of the hard-drive is encrypted just as a stream of data? Or there is some integration between encrypting and file system. Or just there is a file system, which stores encrypted files?
ii) What encryption do they use? Something AES-like? If yes, then one can manage a known cleartext attack on the cipher.
ii) What file system do they use? Maybe drivers for these file-system exist in the wild
