    First, thank you for your great effort and support for all the users here.

    I found a shop in my country, which is selling the Xplain. Im a bit worried because it seems to be programmable by usb, but you have to shorten pins before powering the board (this is what i understand from the technical data sheet)

    Do you think its hard for a microcontroller-noob? i'm experienced in electronics over many years but this seems to be to much for me.

    are there any websites which provide some more "practical" information?

    I've flashed my Olimex AVR-USB-STK with this http://www.ps3news.com/forums/attach...chmentid=21176 and when I boot the PS3 it seems to work fine i.e. shows the two folders but when I attempt to ent it throws up a 80028F14 error! Any ideas?

    I've seen several reports now that the Teensy++ /bd_dev/ (backup-running patched version) does not work. More specifically, that it allows game backups, but will not run the backups. This is supposedly using the proper patched hex.

    Can anyone here with a Teensy++ confirm or deny this for me?
