So if i get a Teensy++ or a Teensy v2.0, i'll be able to load the hex via the pjrc loader and have a "cloned" or modified modchip that functions like the psjailbreak straight out of the box without the need to to physically anything to the usb dev board?

Ummm... i think you answered your own question.. "supported devices.. " implies that it requires AT90USB1287 and therefore this chipset is not included.
