FYI. In the past PS3's would not update without the BDROM functioning properly... that may or may not be the case any more... but if its not on 3.41, you may be wasting your time.
so now we can load backups without a disc and run homebrew without installing to the hard drive! Great progress! I look forward to testing this when it's compiled for PSFreedom.
That would be the ultimate thing. I look at it as this is just the beginning more will come it will just take time. Maybe some of the wii coders and programmers can move over to the ps3 like they made the backup loaders with wbfs format for isos maybe something similar can happen to the ps3.
I have had to modify a few things so I can compile this under linux, and so far it looks good I will upload some hex's soon.
I will need some feedback for all of you to let me know if they are working or not.
If you have a request for a specific board let me know but please don't ask for any pic boards unless you can give me the source, and don't ask for led's to be added unless you give me the proper leds.h or at least let me know what the settings should be for your board as I don't care about an led that turns off 2 seconds after the PS3 boots
