PS_Unban v0.1: PS3 3.55 Unban and 4.21 Unban PKG Files Arrive!

0x00 I am going to go ahead and switch this Rogero 3.55 v3.7 NAND system over to rebug 3.55.3 I will let you know if this working on this.

I just tried the last pkg update that you did and its a no go for 3.55.3 REBUG but it didn't freeze it gave me a error which I think the error happened due to it was signed to 4.21 REBUG I will try to resign it and if that doesn't work I will go ahead and go up to 4.21 REBUG to see if I have any luck there

I just tried this on both firmwares (REBUG 3.55.3 and 4.21) and its still giving me a black screen I don't know what the issue could be

Updated: 4.21 unban fix. (not blackscreen just yet)

Thanks for the confirmation StanSmith, I am going to do a new article with the most recent versions 0x00 posted and will keep the rest archived in the old article that I will update for legacy purposes (and to preserve my sanity knowing which version is which ).

From the looks of things, more testing will be done and more revisions released before this is perfected anyway.

I'm not sure what happened but the version I used last night didn't work this morning. This last version is working again. I'm guessing they (Sony) know something and fixed it maybe? I did nothing after it worked last night so it should've worked this morning but it just refused.

Again I have done nothing since it worked this time. I will try again in a few hours and see how it goes then.

tried the new 3.55 v0.2 but still with no luck, did someone managed to get it work on dongle cfw ?

Following up on his initial releases, PlayStation 3 developer 0x00 has updated PS_Unban to version 0.2 for PS3 Firmware 3.55, 4.21 and 4.30.

Download: PS_Unban v0.2 for 3.55 CFW / PS_Unban v0.2 for 4.21 CFW / PS_Unban v0.2 for 4.30 CFW

Currently it is getting mixed results with different PS3 Custom Firmware (CFW) versions, including a working confirmation from StanSmith and a non-working report from MiNDTH3G4P.

Feel free to give them a try and post your results (with the PS3 Firmware and version details you are using) in our ongoing thread.

Note: As posted by Easton999GS, be sure to run this application in 1080i NOT 720p or it will black screen on you!
