I put the .self on my usb thumbstick, plugged it into my ps3's right-hand usb port, rebooted and nothing. I'm on Rebug 3.55 cfw by the way. Is there any way to get my ps3 back to normal?

If you put the right .self from the Crashserious package on your usb stick, they have no problem to back into normal mode.

it's weird, what you have exactly ? still the logo red spot ?..

Is there any method that comes to mind that I can use to get back to normal mode. I've tried the .self file over and over... I'm gonna go nuts if I can't get my ps3 back to normal.

Pardon guys, would that mean we can upgrade to a recent OFW and then downgrade easily to 3.55 kmeaw? I'd really need to log onto the SingStore and download all wifey's songs back and then downgrade to 3.55 kmeaw again, because you need PSN Store access to access SingStore. Can someone crack it up for me please? Thanks for any help.
