This is simply a basic blank USB chip on a board.

CLONES DO NOT have magical powers to bypass things, they are simply CLONES using other peoples software that's already available.

The only device worth dumping and reversing is whatever comes out of the PSJailbreak team, which has been done already and will properly happen again if they have a trick up their sleeve to get around the 3.42 update.

Seems like no one wants to be inventive, everyone just copies everyone else. Psjailbreak seem to be the only innovational ones (ie. backup manager 1.1 features)

BTW - upon downloadin the ps3avrv1.exe the F-secure is reporting it as containing Generic Trojan.Heur.JSZa7@VNWyAi ...

Just a headsup - it might be indeed absolutely innocent / false alarm due to the fact it would most probably communicate with some low level access with the dongle via USB but better by safe than sorry so you might want to either check the file using the AV software of your own choice or at least use it on some dedicated / isolated / test PC or at least in virtula machine etc.
