bah... this doesn't resign sprx files. how can i resign sprx for 4.30 ?

seems no one has info about this.

Doesn't work. I tried 6 update PKGs and all give the same error. "Unable to repack PKG check content ID" This would be great if it worked. Its always had this problem thats why I dont use it.

The PKGs I tried are old and new. Some 3.50 and some 4.21 firmware updates

this tool can't seem to handle sprx or edat files ?? isn't there a way to resign those files for 4.30 ?

quite a few psn games/3.55 fixes have these files an they cause problems with this tool.

any help here ? i know a lot of others are looking for answers to this as well.

For those following, I have now added PS3 TrueAncestor EBOOT Resigner v1.41 to the main article with the changlog as well.

v1.41 Changelog:

1. Add supporting resign 4.25 EBOOT to 4.21 in 4.XX options.
2. Fix 4.25 EBOOT resign to 3.55/3.41/DEX.

I'm on Windows 7 64bit.

And pkgs, take your pick. I have now tried over 10 PKGs and none work. All update PKGs from games ranging from really old like 2.70 updates up to the latest 4.10 updates.

so , if we got a psn game which are 2 parts:

1. game.pkg
2. crack fix.pkg

we should resign BOTH of them or simply resign the second one???

Thanks for the script zeroblu3!

Using the FAR script 0.5b but there are still some pkgs that don't work correctly. When you drag them to the batch file you get the error "package not extracted or eboot.bin is missing" then syntax of command is not correct. Let me know if you need a copy of the package and I'll try to link it to you somehow.

Depends on if the crack is a license file or contains an eboot. If it has an eboot you usually need to just resign just the crack and that's worked for me most of the time.

I checked one or two of these and repackaging them manually seems ok. There are a couple with sprx files in them and after repackaging and installing the whole thing hangs my PS3. I'm guessing this is the problem the others talked about earlier.
