What the heck you talking ? Take a FTP app or multiman and copy that file over to /dev_hdd0/home/etc/00000001/exdata/

Filemanager shows /dev_hdd0/home/ as empty and FTP client doesn't have access to it.

Use multiman or blackb0x ftp app. Those both will work 100%.

Used Comegenie FM and blackb0x FTP v1.2 - both didn't work. Multiman did the trick.

There's only 2 files in /dev_hdd0/home/00000001/etc/ - boot_history.dat and explore_view.txt. No 'exdata' folder, and I have a lot of gamepatches installed. So I assume this directory not used for free content.

Not every game update have a .edat file just the new ones.

Indeed. Tried to rebuild 3.55-DEX witn nas_plugin.sprx from 3.55-CEX. Frimware installs and runs but still not able to handle retail PKGs...
