That would only increase the size of the loader, and be pretty unnecessary with the .ini file. FTP it once and your finished.

1) Have in mind that by default the FTP service is on and its root is in manager's install folder, so you can simply connect and upload your options.ini

2) options.ini allows you to set SEARCH ROOT for game backups. For example it you set hdd_home=/dev_hdd0/game it will wind all game backups in subfolders of ALL MANAGER VARIATIONS.

Still I suggest that all use one location for backup and search to avoid confusion. Once other manager developers decide that backup/search location is a good option then we'll have all maximum compatibility/versatility between applications.

Would love to see ... just a couple more L1 options actually.

Something like 4 - Custom BG + (game cover.png) / 5 - Custom Coverflow BG + Coverflow (cover manager style).

By cover I mean the retail box art.

The other would have the games xmb background image, with the games "cover" in place of the navigation image on the top right. And maybe a third added option for custom background + the "cover" on the top right.
