How did you manage to access the contents inside of IMAGE.DAT? I know you used pfsshell but before you did that, did you mount it to a folder or did you copy the image to another hard drive?
I wrote it to another hard drive.
Had no luck getting the 2G parameter written btw... not sure what to try next except redirecting the dnaslaunch.elf thing to reference the cdrom... but I'm pretty sure there is a hash of some sort on the file.
Thanks for the reply. I know replacing dnaslaunch.elf with another embedded (k)elf works on the ps2 but I'll try and see if i can get it going with the ps3. I wish I had those swap magic disc right now. Modifying those ps2 partitions would be much simpler.
Just to be clear, when Swap Magic loads uLaunchELF or any hdd utilizable app, it does not have access to the hdd correct? Like if I were to browse the hdd using uLE, I wouldn't see any ps2 partitions.
