solar.pkg is a game or a video?

I have the black screen.

solar pkg is a background or theme made by condorman. you need to goto mm and change the theme or something. i've never used any other than the original mm so i'm not sure exactly what problems may arise. i'm sure it will be in this thread or the help section if you can read up you will be able to do it if you want to..

Solar is a multi-functional screensaver, now with added functionality like ftp, dynamic effects, particles effects, real time 3d, light glow and bloom, background mp3 playback and more.

version 2 is almost ready for release so keep an eye out for it.

Following up on my previous release, today I have updated the Solar PS3 Homebrew 3D Screensaver on http://www.tortuga-cove.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=513&p=805#p805 to Solar 2.0 multiMAN PS3 Edition and Stand-Alone followed by http://www.tortuga-cove.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=513&p=805#p820 and http://tortuga-cove.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=513&start=10#p900.

Usage:

• SELECT pauses the music
• START resumes it. lol
• X starts the FTP
• And all the other buttons will launch multiMAN.

Solar v2.2 Changelog:

• Fixed soft reset when exiting to xmb with PS button
• Packages are now half the size, Thanks DeanK.
• Ftp is a little better, can be used as many times as wanted now.
• Changed animations around.
• Some more code clean-up.

Note: when using FTP, you have to connect & re-connect twice to return Solar's animation, till I fix that.

Is this open source? I don't think multiman's FTP would work since it would close itself out to spawn this solar app. This is something that would need to be coded directly into multiMAN as a screen saver (it already has mp3 playback and ftp support).

It would be TONS more useful integrated with multiMAN, rather than simply spawned over it.
