I'm actually thinking of making xmb themes... but I'm not sure if to hold-off, since I don't know if custom firmwares are going to replace the xmb or just incorporate into it... most probably the latter.
either way I'm still going to make multiMan themes, but want to do more...
not yet, but it should be fixed with dean's next release... and if he implements the xml to install themes, then that should also take care of the problem, can't wait... hopefully by tomorrow...
well, Dean released his new 01.12.00 version and now the icon should be fixed...
confirmed, it works... after you install the new theme and go in/out of multiMan, the new Icon will be changed, thanks Dean.
Q: How to change multiMAN's background music?
A: Pick a MP3 file of your choice. Rename it to SOUND.BIN. Copy it to /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/ on your PS3.
When I rename my MP3 file from PC it shows as .BIN.MP3 instead of just .BIN file. Do I need to convert it to .BIN first or will .BIN.MP3 format still work from the directory? Thanks!
no you need check the show extensions for known file types box in the view properties dialog box within explorer, then you can delete the .mp3 and replace it as .bin
