E3 Flasher for PS3 is Coming from Team E3DIY with Dual-Booting

E3 only works with NOR PS3's the one you have is a NAND Ps3 so it will not work.

How do you know its a nand? The guides around say its a NOR or is it just different as its a pal unit

My bad I did not see the model number. Did you clean the connections for the flasher?

Well its brand new, everything lights up as it should and it lets me upgrade it though did use an update from last year as recommended.

Can't work out how to edit, the lights 1, 4 and 5 come on when trying to backup.

The E3 clips are tricky a lot of the time you'll need to tape some cardboard on top of the clip between it and the metal case of the ps3 to put even pressure on it.

can someone tell me if the E3 flasher downgrade the console from 4.30 to 3.55 (mean base FW 3.40 or less) any one try from 4.30 Thanks....

I have downgraded a ps3 from 4.30 to 3.55 and then used older ways to go from 3.55 to 3.41. Thanks
