hi, i installed e3 flasher on ps3 and when 9 try to backup bios it gave me 10001100 error so i opened ps3 again but the nor clip was put right but it gave me same error again. after that i opened another 4 times gave more an more pressure on top of nor clip but still same result.
The E3 team also posted a guide on how to fix a bricked console, if you have any more questions you can contact them. Here is the guide/news the E3 team posted regarding bricked PS3s.

Some user get console bricked because of wrong operation. Here enclose way to fix if console bricked.
I would suggest watching and go to the 20:00 minute mark. It will show you how to properly get the E3 Flasher properly. I'm not saying its easy but at least it will give you an idea of how to seat it properly.

I have gotten mine to work also. Downgraded from 3.73 to 3.55 and then upgrade to 3.73 and then bricked mine on purpose to see if the e3 could bring it back and it didn't. Now going to hook up a progskeet to see if I can get it back. If you need help people will help you but not if you are going to be mean about it.
We never said that all ps3 supported. We have just posted here what it says on the Web site. As well as we didn't make the e3 flasher we just bought it and reviewed it here. Thanks
finally after so many tries i got the e3 flasher working, i just backed up bios for ofw 3.73 this time i didn't put ant sticky tapes or anything and gave serious pressure on clip but still i got error for once, but i shake the flasher a bit and it worked. hope this help you all who are having trouble.. now only thing i am waiting for is e3 downgrade dongle to have some serious fun. ohh one more thing i opened my ps3 around 6-7 times.
can anyone help me with the cfw and lvl2 files? i can't find it thanks
