looks like my iphone 4 running ios5 is not supported if there is any other methods eg. usb flash drive to open factory service mode, that would be great.
There are other ways. Get a hold of a ti 84 plus and that will work. Or just do a search for psgrade supported devices. Thanks
Ok on another note. I have emailed them asking what are they going to do with all the people havin problems with the clip and they said they will release a way to solder the e3 flasher to the ps3. Hell yes that is what people need. Thanks
No. You have to have a progskeet, e3 flasher, ect... The ti 84 takes the place in the progress of the downgrade dongle. In step 6 of the e3 flasher guide.
Ok the make an update on everyone. Ended up fix a ylod ps3 for two people and I have the money to get the progskeet. So the experiment will keep going. I have the read and the e3 flasher and now the progskeet on Thursday so we will see if I can get this ps3 back to life. Will keep everyone updated. Thanks
Wondering if anyone can help me with step 6? Got e3 flasher all installed, backed up bios, flashed bios with e3_downgrade.bin, later found out you still need a downgrade dongle to do the actual downgrade part of it.
So I bought a ps jailbreak dongle, plug it in, hit power and then eject and it doesn't do ANYTHING! Just has red light lit on it and that's it. Man is this stuff getting frustrating! Do I need a specific dongle to do it or what?
