No its not impossible, its down to the loader were it loads the game from, and not forgetting games come BDVD, not Cd's or DVDs, different Lazar for different disk die's and size of tracks on disks, that's why your drive may not play bdvd, but still can play dvd's or cd's some times.
so its unlikely you can make a boot-able games disk of your own, that the bdvd will read as legal and boot up, without a boot loader telling it to, on a modded PS3 only.
So luckily its still very hard for someone to make backups of games disks and sell them down their local car boot sale.![]()
