IMPORTANT: If you want to test your edits you can not use old save games. For example: I dont got my senator.dat working till I found out that my save game contained old data. Names of characters and senators will be saved in your save file at the start of a new game and can corrupt your game.
The JAP comimtee.dat file has not the same structure as the US committee.dat. This file has to be taken over by someone who speaks japanese. I will take over an other file.
Tidus: If you can edit your first post it whould be a good idea to make a short list of files which are complete or have to be done or have to be tested (maybe with different colours and sorted by priority). So everybody will have a good overview about the files and the status of your project.
