Commodore 64 / C64 Emulator for PS3 is Coming Soon

Today news of a Commodore 64 / C64 emulator for PS3 has arrived from AreaScout via PSGroove (linked above).

Not much information is available on this C-64 PlayStation 3 GameOS port for PS3 JailBreak users just yet except for the following details, to quote:

"It seems just about anything and everything is getting ported to the PS3. News comes to us, that a dev by the name of AreaScout, has undertaken a project, to port a Commodore 64 emulator to the PS3. Information is limited on this project, however, two screenshots from the project have surfaced and are located below.

Expect more information as it becomes available to us."

Some pictures are available below of the C64 PS3 emulator port!

Ha that's a funny thing. I grew up with a c64 but have forgot a lot about it with time.

I wonder if it still works via commands.

I'm sure you will need to find the roms yourself (or dump them yourself) as many people do not provide them due to legal restrictions in their country.

Archon, MULE, Shamus, Gemstone Warrior, Temple of Aspai, Impossible Mission, Spelunker, Montezuma's Revenge... the list goes on and on for me.
