I am on rebug 3.55.2 and Multiman doesn't work starting with MM ver 02.06.00 and up. last good version was MM ver 02.05.03 is there going to be a fix? all I get when starting MM is a black screen and have to do a hard shutdown on unit with off button remote isn't giving option.

it won't work from 2.05.06 , and I installed the full including 2.06.00 and no it doesn't work for me. I tried full 2.07 also. so nope doesn't work. last working version was 2.05.03 on my system.
I guess I can try to reinstall rebug and see if that helps?
anyways I have a clean install everytime, I FTP and delete the folders and files each time, just to make sure.
I'm not a kid nor am I dumb. been doing this since 98, you shouldn't assume I can't follow directions, and since you didn't write the version of rebug your on, your not exactically helping are you?

Well I'm on ReBug 3.55.2 and yesterday updated from MM 2.05 to this latest version, working perfectly.
Just updated to 2.07.03 but now I can no longer activate a motion background. The wave.divx is in the right folder as it was working before the update.

Thanks for the info, but nope (sigh) I still am suffering frozen black screen. here's what I did today.
1. installed the latest rebug update / Rebug_Update_Package_0.4_3.55.2 with 3.72 spoofer
2. installed multiMAN ver 02.07.00 FULL (20110918-191000)
3. Then installed multiMAN ver 02.07.03 UPDATE (20110920-185400)
Then got black screen error like before, I even went thru the rebug debug settings turning off everything just in case a setting is interferring, and still got black screen death.
4. Removed by FTP multiMAN ver 02.07.03
5. Installed fresh clean multiMAN ver 02.05.00 FULL (20110831-170000).
6. Installed multiMAN ver 02.05.03 without wave. WORKS!!
Again the last good version working for me was multiMAN ver 02.05.03, but when I try to update to this multiMAN ver 02.05.03 UPDATE POC WAVE (20110905-143300) it freezes, obviously my unit doesn't like the background wave. or something?
I will try a different hdd and see if I still get the same results. Be back later. 80gb back compat Fat PS3.
NOPE, a freshly formatted hdd and fresh install of MM didnt help, I installed the multiMAN ver 02.07.00 FULL (20110918-191000) Only.
still got black screen PS3 freeze. ugh what the heck is going on? I would hate to uninstall rebug and risk bricking my system just to get this to work, but if I need to maybe thats the next step. I never uninstalled rebug before so I'm a bit timid about doing it.
My unit lost its ID awhile back and without loging in to psn I cant reset it. but then I would be on 3.72 is there a downgrader for that yet since its new? prob not. nope I think uninstalling rebug and returning to Kmeaw 3.55 might work, if it doesn't then I have problems. lol but then again I have them now anyhow. (:>)
I uninstalled Rebug to Kmeaw 3.55 then back to rebug, and now everything works! I had a bad initial install of Rebug, which I'm glad I found out before something serious happened like a brick. so it was a good thing that MM didnt work or I wouldnt know about the bad install. I love MM and it gets better each time.
When I was getting files together for reinstall of rebug I found out I didnt have REBUG_3.55.2_PS3UPDAT.PUP instead I had installed REBUG_355.1_PS3UPDAT.PUP which is why the updates afterwards and the cfw was bad. don't know how that happened. they don't even have REBUG_355.1_PS3UPDAT.PUP on there anymore.
I must have missed it but now all updates installed are for the proper 3.55.2 version. word to the wise don't blink when there is update versions to keep track of. Happy camper now. thx to those who tried to help.
