The game manager (1.07.02) can't find my external hard drive. I'm using a 2TB WD elements hard drive. The usb port is working, I tested a 8GB stick and the manager detects it fine. I tried a 500 GB hard but it couldnt find it either. Is there a size limit on hard drives? Any thoughts?
moh from psx-scene said he is collaborating with other developers to create a "unified" backup manager. drizzt is in on it. i'm just wondering if you're a part of it too. it would be great if you are.
No, I'm not. My goal was to make somewhat of useful tool, which is not just a backup manager.
to deanrr can you add covers config to the next release?
# Look for covers backups recursively in these folders:
# (leave blank for USB (usb_home) root (/) folder)
hdd_home=/dev_hdd0/BDCOVERZ
usb_home=/BDCOVERZ
i have an idea, what do you think about an update function in MultiMAN ??
you know, your Program connect to a server (maybe your own) and checks if the files are the newest one... (maybe with download function) so its a way easier to get your updates ^^

Yes, I'll add new options in the in for the covers in the next update.

Keep up the good work !!
Yes, but for it to work it will require USB flash/stick/hdd connected to get the update saved there. Then user quits and installs it. I know of no way to initiate the update process (after download) within the application, yet.

Make sure the Playstation3 identifies your drive as "External" either in Video or Music/Photo tabs of XMB.
Your external USB should have at least one FAT32 formatted partition (max 512GB) - the FS should be FAT32 and NOT NTFS or fat32ext.
