don't update through service mode... some say it will bricked the console.
Oops, I meant to say recovery mode. At any rate, the installation went very smoothly. Updated to OFW 3.55 from OFW 3.41, then proceeded to update to kmeaw 3.55 via recovery mode and had no problems at all. Installed latest version of MutiMAN then installed the BDEMU-355KM.pkg, and was able to load up my recently backed up copy of KZ3. Had no problems at all, game ran just as smoothly as on a BD.
Very impressive. MutiMAN FTW! The whole layout of the program is very professional and amazingly streamlined too, even the music is a neat touch. Also nice that I don't need a disk in the drive to play a game, since the App/PS3 GAME folder thing works as the games launch point. And I didn't even get prompted to update my FW when launching KZ3 (which I assume it normally would have done if launched from the BD).
But I am curious, is it possible for Sony to eventually stop future games from being backed up like this? Or is this something that Sony can't stop as long as you are on CFW with the proper backup program?
Hello everyone, just wanted to say great app, good work there deanrr ! It's the only one I use now for my backups.
Just wondering if it hasn't yet been mentioned. I had my backup on my internal and was copying it to my external. This game being around 5000 files. Copies great but it took a long time. I know that multiman counts how many files and size of game, but while copying, is it possible to display on which file its on number wise.
So if the game has 5k of files, it would be awesome to be able to see at what stage its on. Like a countdown, cauz it was copying the last 10% for 2hrs and was always saying 5 minutes to go.
Now if this has already been mentioned or is in the works, sorry about that, but there are soo many pages now and its hard to read about everything now. But otherwise please keep up the good work, by far the best app on the ps3 hands down.
Hiya, regardless that just says how many megs its copied out of total.
It would be nice to see what file its copied out of total. Sometimes its easier to know how many files to go, game took 3 1/2 hrs to copy but of course time counter was irrelevant by then as it said 5mins for like 2hrs.
Its no big deal really, i'm patient, its just would be nice to see more stats.
Either way i'll still be using multiman entirely anyhow
Can someone explain to me how to modify the options.ini correctly.
I have on my external hdd the following folders :
Gamez <--- Where games are copied to USB
GamezEXT <--- Games where they run 100% from external
GamezINT4G <--- Games that are 4gig+ and need to be copied to internal hdd
GamezINTBS <--- Gamez that need to be copied to internal because of black screen
Now how do i reflect that in the options.ini to show all directories.
