I transferred a game via FTP to my internal hd. I forgot to merge the split files before transferring it so now i wonder if there is any functionality to merge them directly. was looking through comgenies filemanger, gaia and multiMAN but found nothing. Any suggestions?
I'm having a problem where every time I get a game that I don't have a cover for, multiman downloads it every time I run it. It never seems to save the cover image, so every time I open multiman and scroll past a game that wasn't included in the cover pack, it has to re-download.
I was thinking this is a permissions issue or something but haven't been able to find a solution - is this behavior by design or is something not working properly?
It successfully downloads the cover and shows it for the time I have multiman open, but when I launch a game and come back to multiman, any downloaded covers are gone and I'm back to just the ones included in the main cover pack...
I've tried kasablanca + gftp, "linux mint" so it's no anti-virus programs (as I saw mentioned in a reply to someone with a similar thing happening). I don't have Windows, I've been using unix/linux for just on 20 years but haven't seen something like this happen before on any ftp clients, guessing it's a specific thing for multiman. I'll see if filezilla for linux works but just wanted to put it out there that it's not working for my circumstance(s).
Anyway, filezilla for linux works, cheers for suggesting another poster to use filezilla, saved time trying to get current ftp client(s) to work.

Has anyone ever suggested having a db of games that support direct booting so that it doesn't have to ask if you want to skip the xmb. I figure it can't be that difficult since there are already libraries for downloading updates. (but than again what do i know). Still think it would be a cool feature.
No change(s) on my part, I have noticed it a few times now. Sometimes on exiting a "black screen" game launched with "select x" multiMAN fails to move the PS3_GAME folder back... might be worth looking at how this feature is coded/implemented and finding a way to prevent this ??
