Yeh im still not able to get on and I have the same version as you. Perhapse they did find a way to block us from doing as such with a lower firmware. Thats ok, im sure we will find a way again.

By the way, about the imageversion that is referred in the ps3-updatelist.txt i just discovered that it's in the PS3UPDAT.PUP file from offset H14 to H17

eg. for the 1.10 the image version is 00000848

Thanks a lot for looking into that. Maybe if we use the ORIGINAL update list that has a valid image version (not just all 0's) it will still work? I updated to 1.51 before discovering the update bypass, but I'd rather not update further until I know it won't cause me to miss out on anything. I'm about to try my (extremely likely to be unsuccessful) theory.

I can confirm that I just tried the update bypass method five minutes ago (I have 1.51), and IT WORKS! I'll post more info in a few hours when I'm home again.

Yes, it works with 1.50 and later version of FW (some friends of mine tested it) but i'd like to keep my 1.32 for now :cool2

anybody try hex editing the .pkg files. i opened the tekken 5 file and found this:

not really sure if its any good for modding the file to work, but maby if this was edited with whats in the grip shift file maybe it would work...
