Yeah, that is what i had wanted to do. But that method isn't working atm anyways. but it would be cool if it wasn't restricted to just *.pkg files and the original urls to them.

I like your the way you made your program, with all the feedback it gives the user as you are setting it up. And I understand you wanted to make it fool proof.

Do PS3 Proxy Server or 3r1c PS3 Proxy bypass the firmware check (like DNS method) ?

Or these program are just to installing content from PS Store via PC ?

pkg files are actually in PlaystationStore. From page to page in this thread you will see links like http://zeus.dl.playstation.net/cdn/*.pkg. That is what you are looking for.

For pass firmcheck, Start proxyserver by CF3B5 and Redirect http://fus01.ps3.update.playstation....updatelist.txt (if your ps3 is USversion)or http://fjp01.ps3.update.playstation....updatelist.txt (for JP version) to your custom .txt

It's possible to do all with 1.32. i actually use PS3.Proxy to both install PS3 PKG from my PC and to skip the update check.

Okay, I have 1.1 and have Simple DNS running. The internet connection test works, but I get an error. I run this program, and it doesn't pass the PSN test. Is this even possible with 1.1? Thanks.
