PlayStation@Home working! (but you can't play)

I just used the PS3.proxy program and did all the above instructions and downloaded the HOME files and downloaded HOME on to my PS3.

It shows up under Playstation Network Tab. When I open Home it tells me I have no save file and loads up to the Home title screen. When I click start it ask if I want to update. I did not do the update, because I do not know what it will do.

But I successfully have it installed. Am just waiting to see what the update does or listen to more feedback.

do i have to be on the ps3 or on my comp? and then do i have to copy it to the ps3 with memory card?

both need to be running, you copy it using a ps3 proxy program.

Does everyone have the home logo/option under playstation network xmb tab?

I seem to have it after I deleted all the old home installs and stopping the PS3 proxy.. If I click it it says "This content cannot be accessed by this account."

has anyone mentioned whether or not we should keep the proxy on when attempting to download the update?

when i downloaded the update with the proxy still on (i think), it removed the network icon (which as has been said says 8.3 in the menu) and added a second icon to the game panel. the old one has no entry for version, and the new one (for me) said 8.0

seems odd. haven't other people been saying it was 8.6? maybe i'm mistaken

i found the 232mb version and i was sending it to my playstation (not using the F@H method) but my computer died
