If this really does not work any more then this is a blow for us. I liked checking the PS Store looking at new things and chatting with my friends but without online it does suck.

I guess i'm lucky my friend lent me his PS3 to play online while I keep my 1.6 at bay ready for anything from the PS3 Hacking Scene.

People, if you must know, Simple DNS stopped working a few firmwares ago. The only method which still works is PS3Proxy. Very easy to setup and gets the job done to bypass the firmware check and get you online.

Simple DNS only just stopped for me. Have you got a link on how to setup PS3Proxy to be able to play online? I cant seem to find one.

don't even worry about trying either one of the ps3 proxy programs as they have both stopped working for me...

Desi, that is incorrect, SimpleDNS was working fine for me up until Monday when the trial period expired on it, I have not had time to re activate it yet but will do so tonight and confirm whether SimpleDNS still works or not.

Guys i can not sign-in to PSN. This problem start yesterday keep poping up the error says that "You have been signed out PSN (80028E01) " but ps3 browser works well. I'm using the proxy method but it seems like it doesn't work anymore, i would like to hear from other proxy users, is it just me taking this error?

I am getting the same error. I have had no problem using Bind on my Debian box up until now.
