hi all, i have a question regarding connection problem after setting up DNS in GTHD.

so i have DNS up fine and i can download stuff off of playstation network fine. But when i was playing GTHD and i tried to get my ranking, the connection fails? my ps3 says i am logged in but i cant submit my ranking. Is it because of the usage of the DNS or is something else wrong? Thanks in advance.

hi. im wondering if anyone can confirm simple dns method to be working properly on FW1.80 (I updated for dvd upscaling and dont want to go any further). If I go to update online it says ive already got the latest firmware installed, all seems good,but takes forever to sign in (if I try bout 30times it might work!)

I can see the dns requests as spikes on the simple dns gui every time but ps3 just says please wait for a while and then I get timed out error.also if i do get into PSstore i often get disconnected (signed out). Cant seem to keep connection long enough to download the motorstorm update. :hitw

just wondering if anyone else is having same problem (maybe its my connection but skype and surfin net seems ok)

So you cant get online with 1.80 without updating to 1.81!! Damn Sony is harsh!

I installed it using the link from here and Folklore demo from the Jap PSN store, but it said content not for use under this ID. I was using FW 1.70, so not sure if it may work using the F@H method.
