PS3 Firmware Version Check Bypassed thread!

As far as I understood, the firmware bypass is sucessfull when PS3 checks its current imageversion against the published into PS3 site, right?

So if I have my PS3 in version 1.32 and I have my PS3.Proxy pointing to a ps3-updatelist.txt containing:

Dest=84;ImageVersion=00000a1b;SystemSoftwareVersion=1.3200;CDN=http://www.ps3news.com/;CDN_Timeout=30;

so, my PS3 will understand as no necessary update, right?

1) Does anybody know if I am right?
2) Does anybody know what is the value of "ImageVersion" for Firmare version 1.10 US?

Can anyone explain how to set this up on a Linksys router. I know it should be posible but looking through the menus I can't find where to do it at. Its a wrt54g

I found it yesterday, and though it did get simple dns working. I still couldnt get to the sony store.
I just uninstalled, tried a bunch of the reg edits mentioned here, when I get home I will see if it works. Is simple DNS working for you?

ok i have spent 3 days reading these threads so i would not have to post something that has already been posted but i cant find it i got up to page 24 and still nothing so i have done everything right but no luck. i go on the browser on the ps3 i even made another account but when i try to sing in it gives me an error has occurred. you have been signed out of PLAYSTATION Network (8002A212). what am i doing wrong i even after failing time after time inputted every region code i think around 36 and still i get the same error the only think i noticed that changed when i went from just us severs to all severs my NAT Type when from 2 to 3 i dont know why i live in dc thats deifently in the us.

plz help im so confused i did this with wireless. i use simple dns on a laptop and a desk top (at separate times) i don't know what else to do and also i tryed to get into the IRC chat but my java is messed up on both my comps lol. i fear i will never get this done :hitw
