ok, so what i'm getting from this is that i need to have both my pc and my ps3 connected to the internet at the same time, is that correct? if so, how do i do that if i have a wired router?

and also what do you mean when you say "make sure that your PS3 and your PC (running the DNS spoof) are on the same IP subnet with access. I had my PS3 originally in a DMZ and it caused all sorts of problems."

can somebody tell how to setup the Simple DNS Plus pls? coz when i installed it and followed the Jurai instruction and nothing happened, i realise that there are NO SIGNAL on my performance graph of the simple dns plus. but then i went onto the help section of the simple dns plus website to configure the software. There says it has to change the Primary DNS server to 127.0.0.1

So i did and i got the signal on the performance graph now. then i retried on the ps3 again, still nothing happened.... is it right to set the prim dns serv. to 127.0.0.1 on the pc? and if so,what prim dns serv. should i set for the ps3 then? thx

question about simpledns 4.0 is there any other program similar to this that we could run? i mean, i did a goof and followed someone's post on here and it messed up my program to where its making me purchase it in order to continue!!! its sooo exspensive, is there any freeware out there to do this with also? also tutorial?

Internet browser working but not Playstation Store, after doing a new user setup login was able to browse the store, but after login out and trying to go back now it's telling me a system software update is required..wow What now?

Try my method.. just follow the instructions and it should work or you could try 1.73 without arp poisoning one person has told me that worked as well.

Ok this is awesome but there are questions. Do I have to run the program on my computer when ever I want to do this? Also the update for call of duty 3 for multiplayer is that game related like resistance or a ps3 update?

kswift510 i tried your method b4.. but when i get upto replacing the dns.file from the ps3news, then i dunno how to do it... can you tell how can you replace the dns.file plz, i am using it on windows xp.

I'm on and grabbing Grand Turismo HD from the store. This DNS stuff was cake since I'm a full-time network Technician. SimpleDNS was as it says "simple to use".

Did anyone grab the F1 Game Stuff..? Is it a demo or just video if you did grab it..? I have a friend of mine that wanted to see the game in action and maybe play a race or two.
