BlackBox FTP 1.2 never worked good for me. It kept on dropping out and unable to transfer while connected. I advise people to use Multiman FTP in the background. That gave me no problems when I was backing up my PS3.

If you are using an ip address in a class A range, then you have to use a subnet mask in the same class A range 255.0.0.0
255.255.255.0 is for 192.0.0.0 upward. IP range which is a c class range.
